The rain did not deter our group one bit! This morning, the Anchor Church had food ready for us to pass out; so we were able to meet people’s physical needs as well as their spiritual needs! The Lord put several people on my heart. We started out on Green Street. We met a family who was strong in their faith and we were able to encourage and pray for them. Then, we headed over to see Gerlisa and her baby Zayden. We enjoyed our visit with her and I made arrangements to babysit; how fun is that going to be! We knocked on two other doors, but nobody answered.
We drove around trying to find someone to bless. A vacant building caught our attention. It looked like the perfect location for a homeless person to rest their head. We investigated a little bit, but didn’t see anyone. We moved forward and noticed a male and female walking down the street with a plate of food in their hands. It appeared they were leaving from the Salvation Army. We were able to give them a ride and left them an abundance of food. Continue reading “Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head!”
