The Lord blessed my socks off today! Neil and I went to church and I ran into a dear sister I served with in CR. Rhonda shared with me that the Lord revealed to her numerous things during the sermon. She stated He showed her I never worshipped the CR ministry, my job, or my husband…I only worshiped Him. She said He showed her I followed through to completion my assignments at work and CR…and I was continuing to serve Him through my marriage. She said through all of these examples, He showed her I was a faithful servant and He has been preparing me for my next task! My cup runneth over!

What a neat day the Lord planned! I was able to go out with Sherri and Royal; our Heavenly Father blessed each of us in a special way.
Royal felt led to go to Home Depot. On the way, he began sharing his testimony. We ended up staying in the car to hear about what the Lord had done in his life. Through his story, God was able to communicate to Sherri how much He loved her and wants her to live life in abundance. Royal discussed an important ingredient to freedom is forgiveness. He also encouraged her by saying God will use her life experiences to help others; just like his was impacting her! What a blessing! Rev. 12:11
Hope Wins!
This week has been filled with grief. Myself and numerous others are heavy hearted about what is happening here in Tupelo and in Dallas. I also went to a funeral of someone who had their whole life ahead of them. A precious soul who’s addiction defeated them.
Earlier in my life I would have just climbed into bed, pulled the covers over my head, and tried to pretend these things didn’t happen. However, today is different. It is different because I have hope. I have a Savior who promised in Romans 8:28 “in all things God works for the good of those who love him.”

Today, the Lord put me on a team with Grant, his son Zeke, and Regina. What a treat it was! As I shared a few weeks ago, my heart has been heavy for our community. Numerous lies have been told to create division among our citizens and protestors are coming at the end of the month to stir up even more dissension. Because of this, it shouldn’t have been a surprise that we were appointed to pray over the first responders and leaders of Tupelo!
Fourth of July
What an amazing time enjoying fireworks one night and then God’s handiwork the next!
Calling All Prayer Warriors
This morning my husband; Neil, received a phone call about an officer involved shooting in Tupelo. What is so critical is that this makes for the second weekend in a row an officer involved shooting has occurred. Neil and I discussed how we could only remember two other incidents in the entire 9 years he’s served on the force!
This hit me hard and I began praying and meditating about what I could do. While we were driving I noticed an upside down state flag flying in someone’s yard. I asked Neil what it represented and he explained an upside down American flag is a sign of national distress. Well, this was my sign! Our state and even more specifically; our city, is in distress!
Living Word
We did this on our last team member Zoom meeting. Man is this neat! Lectio Divina is Latin for “Divine Reading”. It is a practice scripture reading, mediation, and prayer intended to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of God’s Word. It brings Scripture to LIFE! Please try it!
My Passion
My heart skips a beat when I hear the word discipleship. You see, I had a very special someone who loved me when I hit my rock bottom…when I was unable to love myself. She walked beside me until I could see my identity in Christ and love who I am in Him!
Discipleship is a large part of TTR…and to be honest…it’s my favorite part! The Lord gives us an opportunity to pour His love into others so in return, they can do the same! Isn’t that our purpose on this side of heaven…putting His love into action? James 2:20…Faith without works is dead…comes to mind. So does Matthew 28:19-20…Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…
Oh How He Loves Us!
Today was our last day on the coast and I decided to take the plunge and walk the 1.7 mile bridge over the bay and back. I prayed the Lord would speak to me and reveal Himself to me. Again, I was not disappointed!
From the first marker to the last, He made it known that it’s time to go fishing! The entire walk, all I could think about was Matt. 4:19 “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Do you see the middle picture on the top row? I realized that I am not alone…that the Holy Spirit and others are going to help me be about His business! The orange lock that says “be inspiring” caught my eye. I thought this was neat because the fishing boat directly below it was just heading out and had just passed by the red and green markers that I saw when Neil and I walked the piers on Tuesday morning. He was reiterating the importance of listening to His instructions all along the way.
Giddy Up!
This morning I was able to walk with Neil; what an adventure we had! We both love piers, so we drove to Ocean Springs and off we went! Right away, I noticed the Lord was showing me signs…Red and green, slow down…and I realized how much I need to tune in and listen to His instructions.
