Tonight was the only night Laban asked me to assist him with the kids. I thought it would be a easy and fun way to finish off the week. However, I didn’t know the Lord would use my work experience to discern the safety of two children that were there.
Please join me in praying for these young kids the Lord revealed to me were victim’s of abuse. Contacts to the proper authorities were made. We are praying and believing for divine intervention to minister to their hearts and prevent future abuse, amen?
This morning I was able to be on a team with Sandra, Laura, and Alex. As we prayed, I had a vision of Holy Spirit fire and a feather. I discounted both, as Laura prayed about the Holy Spirit and she was wearing a feather bracelet.
Laura stated she usually goes to the church on map and then sees what is around it. I laughed on the inside because the church was located in Ponder…and that is where I wanted to go because the Volunteer Fire Department’s event that I bought a raffle ticket for was there.Continue reading “Sleepy Saturday”
The Lord continues stretching me! Our team was asked to give a word to three of the traveling team members. I was nervous, so asked for counsel about how to begin this process. It was suggested to ask the Lord to give me an animal for each individual. Then, request for the Lord to reveal what characteristics about the animal related to them. It was really neat how they unfolded. After I was given an animal, the Lord highlighted several characteristics about them, and the descriptions led to a scripture! Wow!

Because I pressed into Him, I was able to see three young men at Liberty Christian School accept Christ!!! How good is God?
From there, we left and went to the Revive Taco Party at the park. When I walked into the pavilion, I noticed Lonnie (the gentleman I met Monday) sitting at one of the picnic tables. I immediately went to find Wade and we began praying for his arthritic hands. After several short powerful prayers, the pain in his hands left and he was able to straighten out his ring finger! He was healed!Continue reading “Taco Thursday – Part 2”
This afternoon my team went to North Texas Collegiate Academy. Each team member sat down at a table of about 5 students. We went through the bands and Bible with them. Then we asked the question if there has ever been a time when they have invited Jesus into their hearts…and two of the boys at my table said no. When I asked if there was anything preventing them from doing so, they said no. Because of these two no’s, my heart began quickening in anticipation. When I asked if they wanted to…they said no once more! I was devastated. Continue reading “Weeping Wednesday – Part 3”
This morning I had the privilege of going out with four teens! I was amazed at their boldness and willingness to pray and share the Gospel with total strangers! They were also more than hospitable. They played country music as we rode in a pick up truck and later took this picture with our cowboy hats on! I truly felt at home in good ole Texas!
We decided we needed to go to the square in downtown Denton. We ran into another TTR team and Cy shared with me that he had just seen Robin again. Cy stated Robin told him he began running after we got into the car the other day and Cy noticed his anger had dissipated! Thank you Jesus for healing Robin!!
We had several people tell us no they didn’t want prayer, but that didn’t deter them from trying again. The guys went one way and us girls went another. Once we met back up with the rest of the team, we took time to pray for each others special requests and closed out with the Lord’s prayer! What a beautiful morning!
During prayer this morning, my team saw a bean field, grapes and I saw wheat blowing in the wind. We all recognized the Lord was revealing to us the harvest is ready! Please continue pressing in with us as we plea for more laborers!
I also saw a light house…the light was reaching into corners that consisted of cob webs. I knew He was asking us to go into unlikely spaces because His light is able to penetrate even the darkest of places and hardest of hearts…taking me to the scripture that nothing is impossible with Christ! (Matt. 19:26)
This morning, Labon, Mary Frances, Liliana and myself went to Woman to Woman administrative office and their clinic to share the Gospel and pray for the staff. During the first meeting, the Lord highlighted Ev to me. She shared she identified with the word death, as it was attached to her. She opened up about her experience of the Taliban attacking her camp and she took responsibility of assuring the dead bodies were taken proper care of. She also stated she watched a friend, family member, and neighbor take their last breath. I heard the Lord tell me to speak and pray His life into her, so I did.
During the second meeting, we had a beautiful time of prayer with them. We shared what the Lord has been doing in the metroplex and we left the staff feeling encouraged and refreshed! What a fun time we had!
This afternoon, my team went to Aubrey Middle School to share the gospel to their FCA. It was neat because as Nate was presenting the Lord highlighted two kids. I specifically prayed for the Lord to prepare their hearts and these two plus four others said yes to Jesus! Oh how I love it when He allows me to see the fruits of our labor!
