You Revive Me!

This morning, I had the opportunity to walk down a pier and just worship our Father.  What a time we had!  I asked Him to reveal Himself to me as I walked.  I have been learning to intentionally look for Him in ALL things.  At first, I noticed numerous shrimp tails…and I was reminded about the importance of putting on my armor daily.  Then I came up to a grandfather and grandson…it was neat illustration of “give a man a fish and feed him for a day, but teach him how to fish and feed him for a lifetime.”  I believe the Lord is teaching me how to fish…I need to continue being open to His instructions and slow down long enough to hear them!

Healing

img_0352Wow, what an amazing team the Lord brought together today!  After we got into the vehicle and prayed, I heard the word healing.  Each individual in the car shared about a miraculous physical healing the Lord did for them!  I haven’t experienced or needed one of these, so my group prayed for my financial healing as I continue seeking partners to become a full time team member for TTR.

Our leader; John, was a retired ER doctor.  We thought this was neat because our word was healing and this had been his profession.   Since none of knew anyone specifically in the hospital to visit, we felt led to walk around the parking lot.  We no more got out of the vehicle and John met a young man who he was able to encourage and pray for.  After their conversation, this gentleman agreed to share the Good News with his family member who was in ICU!

Here We Go!

Many of you are aware I have been praying about if the Lord wanted me to quit my job so I could focus on developing my partners.  My flesh has wanted to leave numerous occasions, but I wanted to be sure it was of Him and not me.  Well, the Lord made it crystal clear Monday morning!

Sunday, Ms. Judy and I went to The Ramp to worship and she ran into a dear friend she knew when she lived in Starkville.  We went to lunch together and before we left, we prayed over him and his new bride.

He stated that the Lord gave him a vision of me standing in front of a horse, trying to fight it…he explained the horse represented the Holy Spirit…and the Lord wanted me to realize He is powerful and that when I get on; He will take me to places I have never been!

All Things New

img_0043As I have shared in a previous post, geese hold a sentimental place in my heart.  A few weeks ago, I watched a momma and a daddy protect their nest.  Today, when I saw these precious little creatures Rev. 21:5 came to mind. He has transformed my dark past and turned it into something beautiful for His glory. It also was a reminder this is a new journey and it’s alright not to have all the answers.  I just need to keep moving forward and He will reveal what it is that He wants me to know when He wants me to know it!

A Day of Firsts

img_0057I can’t wait for you to hear how the Lord loved on me today!  It was a day of firsts!  It started at the church.  The team announced that I was a Team Member In Process (MIP) for TTR.  What is so neat, is this was the same church I was called into ministry.  Everyone prayed over me and His sweet spirit comforted me!

Before we began worship, it was also publicized that we are no longer reviveTUPELO, but reviveMISSISSIPPI!  We had two individuals visiting with us from Horn Lake!  This is the first city in MS that has reached out wanting to start revive there!  I can’t wait to see how the Lord moves here in my very home state!

How Sweet the Sound

My husband had to go to Hattiesburg, MS for a training this weekend.  To be honest, I haven’t purposefully returned to this location in about 15 years because it is where I hit my rock bottom.  I usually feel nauseated whenever I think back to this dark period of my life.  However, I was looking forward to the trip and having the opportunity to show Neil where I went to college.  Well, the weather did not cooperate with my plans.  It rained and we were unable to tour the campus.  At first I was disappointed.  Then, I realized the rain symbolized how the Lord washes away our sins and how because of Him, we are new creations!  I am so thankful His mercies are new every morning!  Great is His faithfulness!

This Little Light of Mine

img_9901 A few weeks ago, I asked the Lord what it was that He wanted to share with me.  In summary, this is what He revealed to me…He is the oil that will sustain my light in this dark world.  I must let my light shine for His glory.  He is going to use my brokenness to reach others…He will pour His oil into them, through me!  How amazing that He will use each and everyone of us as a vessel to share His love to others!

This picture reminds me of how He will direct my path. I must slow down as He will only allow me to see enough to take one small step at a time.  2 Kings 4 also is a description of the widow using oil as God’s provision.  Here is yet another affirmation that He will supply my every need.

Swallow-Tail Butterfly

I prayed theimg_9778 Lord would reveal something to me this weekend.  I kept seeing swallow-tail butterflies.  I began researching these beautiful creatures and this is what I learned.  They are strong flyers.  Their first meal is the egg shell.  As their body transforms, it neither eats or drinks.  They have a flexible tongue and are camouflaged throughout the various stages of their lives so they can ward off predators.

What I believe the Lord was teaching me is – just like the butterfly’s first meal is the shell, we must die to self so we may truly live.  We also need to imitate their transformation by fasting; so ultimately we can tune into Him and become more like Him.  Christians must be flexible as the butterflies tongue is flexible…we should bend our own selfish will to become His perfect will.  And lastly, as the caterpillar and pupa are camouflaged to war off predators, the Lord expects us to put on His full armor to fight off evil daily so we can fly and achieve our true potential.  2 Cor. 3:18

Equipping the Saints

img_9938I was asked to participate in Team Member Monday which consisted of answering a few questions on Periscope.  I had no clue what Periscope was or how to do it.  I attempted to video myself numerous times, but failed.  I ended up realizing I couldn’t do it myself, so I humbly asked my husband for help.  After we successfully got through a 5 minute live stream, I realized this task wasn’t about me at all.  It was a tool the Lord used to get my husband involved in the ministry and be used for His glory!  1 Cor. 10:31

Forever Family

What a blessing today was; packed full of adventure!  The Lord showed Gary a vision of a front porch and me the color orange.  We went to the house and the person sitting in the recliner was wearing an orange shirt!  We were able to pray for her, her sister, and grandson, Aaron.sat

Next, we went to a music store as one of our team members was given the word “tune.”  Pam shared with me how the favor of the Lord follows us…and how it rang true!  Several people came into the store after we did.

We looked at our map that we were given this morning.  We prayed over a church in Nettleton.  I could literally see the doors bursting open and the people going out and being the hands and feet of Jesus in the community!  While we were there, we were able to pray over a gentleman walking down the street holding a brown bag of false hope.  My heart was heavy for him; I knew he was numbing his pain.
