All the time, God is good!

WJSBCOn Tuesday of engage week, my team was given a map with my church on it. I was excited as I wanted to share how God was moving in this ministry to our pastor. However, he was unavailable. We were able to pray with the church secretary about some of her concerns, so we believed she was our Divine appointment.

Great is Thy Faithfulness

Fire

We set off to complete the task we set out to do this morning, but again it was not God’s plan.  We drove by the fire station but nobody was there.  My mother and grandmother were unable to be a part physically, so we brought Revive Tupelo to them.  We shared about what happened earlier that morning and how the Lord was moving in Tupelo.  We were able to pray for personal needs and for the ministry.Continue reading “Great is Thy Faithfulness”

Fuel the Fire

Fuel

This morning I felt we needed to follow up with the fire department; however, the Lord had other plans.  Several of our team members wanted coffee before we headed out so we stopped at a convenience store.  We prayed for two people pumping fuel before we even went inside.

His Business

His Business

Our team was given a map with two churches in Amory which is about a 30 minute drive from Tupelo. We were only allotted 2 hours, so we decided to begin heading in that direction to see what the Lord had in store for us.

We stopped in Nettleton at a business and our leader prayed for a gentlemen getting into his car. He was a believer and was so encouraged by what we were doing, that he tried to give us money to support our efforts.Continue reading “His Business”

Open – Part 2

Calling

This afternoon my team returned to the church in time for me to attend a meeting about how to become a team member with Time To Revive.  I was called “lint” before I even went out on my first outing, so I wanted to see what this was all about.  Two of the first people I had an opportunity to talk to were team members with Time to Revive and I don’t believe in coincidences.

During the meeting, I felt peace as Kyle shared about the position and all that it entailed.  I have been praying that this is where the Lord wants me to serve Him as I have grown more in the past few months spiritually than I have my entire life.  My only desire is to continue serving in this capacity and growing closer to Him.Continue reading “Open – Part 2”

Powerful Weapon

Armor

During one of our trainings Kyle explained how to figure out how many people were needed to start revival in Tupelo based on Jesus using 12.  The answer for Tupelo is 19.  The scripture “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” kept running through my mind.

This morning, Kyle asked all of the locals to raise our hands and for the out of towners to gather around us, hold our arms up, and pray over us.  Looking around, it appeared that there were about 19 people from Tupelo and about 200 from other states.  I was overwhelmed, humbled, and felt loved like I have never experienced before.  One of the youth that prayed over me stated the Lord revealed to him that they were here to pour into the remnant…those they were leaving behind.  I still get emotional thinking about that!  God’s love is amazing!Continue reading “Powerful Weapon”

Children of God

Children

While my morning team was driving to our destination, we talked about how our Heavenly Father likes to watch His children have fun doing His work.  We felt we were on a scavenger hunt, He was giving us clues, and we just needed to be alert and tuned-in with Him.

Oh, Happy Day

My team left out of the church parking lot full of joy and laughing hysterically.  We talked about how excited and happy we were about the upcoming week and in the background we noticed the song “Oh Happy Day” on the radio.  We knew God was setting the tone for an amazing week.Continue reading “Oh, Happy Day”

Let It Shine!

image
A few weeks ago during Revive Tupelo I was given a new word! Ready for it? LIGHT! When my team and I went out Saturday morning we noticed traffic lights, street lights, caution lights, head lights, etc. I started making it complicated because the traffic light itself could hold so many meanings – proceed with caution, stop-look-listen, GO, move forward…you get the idea. But at the end of the day, my prayer ended up being that we shined His light in this dark world and within our community. Ever since I have been fixated on the song “this little light of mine” and I have been trying to emulate His light everywhere I go.Continue reading “Let It Shine!”

Warrior

Prayer

Last weekend I was so disappointed that I didn’t get to go out on Saturday morning with Revive Tupelo because I woke up at 2:00 a.m. sick. However, being a part of this amazing ministry has opened my eyes to things around me and I have been trying to be more in tuned with the Holy Spirit’s leading.Continue reading “Warrior”
